At Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) we strive to make your travel experience accessible for all. Whether you are visiting Seattle, passing through, or accompanying someone else in their travels, our staff and facilities are here to assist. The airport is fully equipped with special access facilities to provide all people with visible and invisible disabilities.
Planning ahead
If you or someone you are traveling with requires assistance, we recommend planning ahead with your airline to have the best experience during your visit.
- Contact your airline in advance to request wheelchair assistance within the airport, access to the terminal, assistance boarding a plane, wheelchairs, specific seat assignments, medication storage or dietary needs.
- CLEAR Concierge is an optional, paid service starting at $99 that offers personalized support for travelers who may benefit from extra assistance by offering a curbside greeting, bag assistance, and an escort through the CLEAR+ lane at the TSA checkpoints and onto your gate. Going through security
Checkpoint and Security Screening Accessibility tools are available to make your travels easier. Learn more about Passenger Support Specialists, Sunflower Lanyards and the TSA Cares helpline that can provide information about and assistance in preparing for airport screening procedures.

SEA Access
SEA Access is our program to support travelers with disabilities and promise to make the airport the most accessible in the nation. SEA is honored to received the Airports Council International (ACI) World’s Accessibility Enhancement Accreditation (AEA) program, which provides a continuous path of improvement for airports in the area of accessibility for passengers with disabilities.
Community Engagement
The SEA Access team has been getting out of the airport and into the community to share more about accessibility resources at SEA and find 
out how we can better support travelers with disabilities. Past events include exhibiting at The Alzheimer's Association Journey Caregivers 2024 Conference, University of Washington’s Spinal Cord Summit, and the Here and Now Project’s Resource Expo. These opportunities provided valuable feedback from the local disability community, and helped to spread information that can empower travelers with access needs.
